Capacity Building Initiatives

Capacity Building / Skill development programs for the youth of Sindh through and under Implementation of Pro-Poor Social Protection and Economic Sustainability initiatives by the Sindh Government with budgetary allocation of Rs. 500 Million.

Two programs were initiated

IT INDUSTRY ACADEMIA BRIDGE PROGRAM

IT Industry Academia Bridge Program for 3000 students of HEC recognized public and private universities, awarded to M/s Hazza Institute of Technology through competitive bidding process. Cost of Contract Rs. 283.657,203 million & Date of Signing of Contract was 1st March, 2023, Launching Ceremony held on 11th April, 2023 at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Lyari Karachi.

PROGRAMM OVERVIEW

The objective of the program is to equip the currently enrolled university students of 6th, 7th and 8th semesters in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, Web Development, or related bachelor’s degree programs in selective universities from HEC-recognized universities in Selective ( Public / Private ) Universities in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkar, Larkana, Khairpur Mir’s and Shaheed Benazir Abad in the Latest I.T Industry Skills. The program is designed to be launched in the spring semester, 2023 in multiple universities of the above-mentioned cities and ideally be delivered as elective courses for the students of the 6th, 7th, and 8th semesters, during the length of the spring semester. TOT- Training the teachers, teaching assistants, and computer lab assistants of these selective universities in the same technologies and skill sets will be the key to this program.
