• First time in provincial institutional frameworks, IS&T Department, Government of Sindh has prepared zero draft of Sindh Science, Technology & Innovation policy.
• The silent features of the policy are:

1. Fostering the role of science, technology and innovation for the long-term sustainability of economic development by adopting 21^st century approaches.
2. Establishing appropriate science, technology and innovation governance and management system in Sindh to enhance its effectiveness and efficiency.
3. To propose apolicy to support human capital as a driver of innovation, therefore, a keen focus will be on Human resource development to drive innovation as per requirements of the           different sectors of Sindh province.
4. To work for employment-rich economic growth by utilizing knowledge for jobs and wealth generation.
5. Facilitating technology-based innovation for greater employability and solution to local and national problems.
