IS&T Department through IT-Joint Working Group CPEC long-term funding has conceived the following projects/concepts proposals:

Project 1: Domestic production of chipset and semiconductor industry:

The aim of this project is to commence with a foundation level infrastructure for developing chip design , assembling and testing initially and then moving forward for the installation of foundry. Cost of Project approx..US$450.000 million

Project 2: Establishing Center of Excellence for Gaming & Animation:

The objective of this project is to provide on-site available infrastructure, trainings and mentorship for gaming and animations startups and incubation/acceleration programs to use the huge potential we have in terms of talented youth and their capacity and become a key player in the regional and international market to promote the gaming industry in Sindh.             Cost of Project approx..US$20.000 million
