Honourable Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah presided over the Contract Agreement/ MoU signing ceremony for the PITP-II at CM House Karachi
Posted on: 04 Sep 2025 Tags:On September 3rd, 2025, Honourable Chief Minister Sindh: Syed Murad Ali Shah presided over the MoU signing ceremony for the People’s Information Technology Programme (PITP-II) at CM House, Karachi. Building on the success of PITP-I which trained over 13,565 students and created more than 4,300 job opportunities, the CM announced PITP-II with an allocation of Rs1.4 billion. This new initiative aims at providing training to 35,000 students in 12 in-demand technologies through NED University, Mehran University, and Sukkur IBA University. The programme emphasizes inclusivity, expanding eligibility to students from Matric to Graduation levels, with an age limit of 28 years. To reward excellence, 1,750 Chromebooks will be distributed to top-performing trainees. The CM described PITP-II as a “transformative journey” towards digital empowered, economic resilient, and educational inclusivity of Sindh.
