Information Science & Technology Department & Hazza Institute join hands to Launch IT Industry Academia Academia Bridge Program

Bridging Industry-Academia Gap
The program aims to provide practical industry exposure and hands-on training to 3000 students in their 6th, 7th, and 8th semesters from public and private sector universities, in order to equip them with real-world experience and prepare them for the challenges of the IT industry.
The ISTD Government of Sindh & Hazza Institute will work together to ensure the success of the program and create a talent pool equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive innovation and growth in the IT sector.

Industry- Academia Linkage, The Call of the Time
Karachi, Pakistan - March 1, 2023 –Information Science & Technology Department (ISTD) Government of Sindh & Hazza Institute of Technology have signed an agreement to launch the IT Industry academia bridge program. The signing ceremony was held on the 1st of March 2023 at the committee room, ISTD Government of Sindh was also attended by Ms. Tanzila Umi Habiba, the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh on Information, Science & Technology & Secretary ISTD, Mr. Asif Ikram.
The IT Industry academia bridge program is a collaborative effort between the ISTD Government of Sindh & Hazza Institute to bridge the gap between academia and industry in the field of IT in Sindh.

Information Technology - the way forward
Ms. Tanzila Umi Habiba highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting the growth of the IT industry in Sindh and praised the efforts of Hazza and the ISTD Government of Sindh in collaborating to launch this program. (Read more)
